Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny, born February 3, 1950) is an American actor from the United States. She achieved prominence during the late 1970s and early 1980s with continuing appearances in various television shows, in which she usually presented a glamourous image. Fairchild began her career in Search for Tomorrow on CBS as Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. Fairchild started her career in 1973 as Jennifer Pace in CBS's daytime soap show Search for Tomorrow. She portrayed Jenna Wade for the first time in the year 1978. In the following year, she landed the leading part on NBC's Flamingo Road. (For this show, she was awarded an Golden Globe Award nominated Best Actress for Television Series - Drama. Fairchild co-starred alongside ABC on the soap Paper Dolls during 1984 and appeared as Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest between 1985 and 1986. Fairchild is also a performer on stage and has appeared in TV comedies such as Murphy Brown, for which she received an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in Comedy Series. Fairchild is also an SAG-AFTRA Board Member.
