Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani , who is nearing completion of his third album which is yet to be released, certainly is a superstar. Ky-mani Marley is the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) and Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). The singer was born on the 26th of February 1976 in Falmouth. Ky-mani comes from an East African term meaning adventurous journeyer. And as an individual living true to his name every album, or trip has been an adventure. The musical journey began in 1999 , with The Journey. He had a broad vision and was looking for his own niche exploring the music spectrum discovering his various skills. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Ky-mani's "traditional" reggae album. It showcased Kymani's maturity. Many More Roads, as along with The Journey was well-received across the globe and established Ky-mani as an self-made "artist". Ky-Mani's musical style is one of reggae roots, layered along with hip hop, R&B and contemporary jazz.
